You can enter the grand Council Chamber and sit in the Lord Mayor's chair, stand on the portico and wave to the crowds below, view the largest grand organ in the Southern Hemisphere and much more. You will also learn about the architectural, social and political significance of this 19th century architectural marvel.

Melbourne City Council is infamous and ripping off people they don't need even photo evidence to prove invalid parking they can still fine you.

Had been into Council House 2 a number of times for various local government related issues. Staff are very customer-focussed, give clear advice and follow up very well.

Melbourne City Council is infamous for ripping off hard working people with expensive parking fines etc. Their inspectors are specially trained to just spying on you and wait for your parking to expire and as soon as it expires they'll give you a $78 fine without any compassion. The ridiculous thing is that today I parked my car with paystay like I always do, and the parking inspector without even checking, just gave me a fine straight away. Honestly, your thirst for money really disgusts me. I'd give you 0 star if I could. Wasting taxpayers money and ripping off hard working people. What kind of of government are you?

You can view the interiors of Melbourne's historic Town Hall through FREE daily guided tours. The Melbourne Town Hall Tours are conducted from Monday to Friday except public holidays. There are 2 sessions per day from 11am to 12pm and 1pm to 2pm. Each tour will only take a maximum of 10 visitors so phone bookings are essential.

Disgusting money hungry bunch of pricks - Councils are usually full of lazy pricks that don't want to do any work unless theirs a kick back, but the Melbourne city council is the worst - All they focus on is collecting as many fines as possible. Very Sad state of affairs
