Amazing exhition with migrant’s stories. You will see yourself in on of those. Free for student. Interacitce displays are engaging. Highly recommend that you spare at least 3 hours to fully enjoy this.

Very educational and emotional exhibition! It could take you approximately 1.5-2.5 hrs to see everything (2 floors). Well organised rooms and the interactive stations are giving you a real example of how early immigrants in Australia were feeling! You can also find a room with special exhibition on Chinese immigration.

Nice place if you want to spend some time in Melbourne. Entry is free for students, staff is friendly and even if I'm not interested in Australia immigration, the exposition was quite good. You can expect to spend 2 good hours inside, and it's quite a kid/family friendly place. The only black point is that the shop inside the museum is not interesting.

The rest of the exhibition really make this former Customs House regal. It is indeed immigrants that make Australia a shining beacon, a treasure for the world.

I don't know how did I get the idea to go here after hopping off the City Circle Tram. I just went up to the top floor. I am then amazed with what I saw. When I first visited the museum it was AFL Finals season so I saw an exhibition about Diversity in football. About AFLW and immigrants winning with their teams. I enjoyed the exhibition.
