  Yes, you could get just as good at a no name Chinese bakery. Bread Top have just fast food outletted a regular consumer item. However, they are easy to find, the price isn't outrageous, and it smells so good. They make a good range of things, including crepes (filled with cold whipped cream), decorative cakes, savoury breads and ice creams.

  On my way back to Breadtop, I thought to take a few photos to show the raw prawn bun to let readers see how uncooked it was. It was almost only dip in the hot oil for a few second! Hope I am not going to get sick from took a bite of it.

  Delicious range of sweet and savoury snacks. Everything from custard buns to mini sausages baked into rolls. Also, if you like custard, you'll love this place. Yum!

  I am a regular customer up until this afternoon. Went into Breadtop at Doncaster Westfield Shopping Town, purchased a prawn bun and other buns. Took a first bite of the prawn bun when I was about to leave shopping town. I realized something was yuck, spit it out, and saw that the beautifully presented, deep fried prawn was raw inside!!! Went all the way back to the shop and asked to speak to the manager, he offered to give me $1.70 back, throw the prawn bun in the bin, and told one of the girls to remove all the prawn buns from the shelve (didn't see anyone was doing it though when I walk out of the shop). No apology or offer compensation or personally remove all prawn buns immediately, just like, well, too bad. Its not cooked, so what?! Will not recommended anyone when discovered that their service attitude and food as like that.

  A slightly odd-ball bakery with some curious stuff that you simply have to try before passing judgement. Most of their stuff is sweet - the savoury stuff is slightly sweet, and the sweet stuff is really sweet (but as a sweet-tooth I can't complain).
