  The good was for the most part pretty great. The cauliflower salad was terrific, and they made a big effort to accommodate my partner who is vegan, which isn't always a given in Melbourne!

  What let this place down a lot was the food service: ones of our diners was still waiting on their first meal well after the rest of our table had received two rounds of share plates. Not ideal.

  We ate here with 4 people & no booking on a Saturday night. The staff were very accommodating & friendly. Had a great meal, varied menu so everyone could get what they liked. Great menu for sharing. Loud but that is part of the atmosphere.

  Dined here 3 days ago. Given the hype and expense of this restaurant I expected better . Food was average and 6 of our eight dishes were over salted and I had difficulty finishing them.The bearded waiter was pushy to the point of rudeness and reminded us several times about how much time we had left to order ,given we were at the first sitting. The somielier and female waitress were very professional ,friendly and helpful. Would not recommend this place however.

  If your after gluten free options this is not the place to eat. Not even gluten free soy which made choices very limited for an Asian Infusion restaurant. I persued regardless and now my stomach is in knots. Small plates but tasty. Staff a bit stiff in the lip. Wouldn't return or recommend.

  Arrived at coda early and were escorted to our table and seated immediately. We were provided just enough time to make a choice for a cocktail. The very patient waiter made a recommendation based on the little information she had. The cocktail was fresh and delicious. Soon after the bottle of wine arrived with just the right glass. As soon as our cocktails were finished a waiter was there pouring or wine. The food was incredible, I literally licked the plate after the scallops. I would definitely recommend Coda to anyone looking for a great meal.

  The desserts were amazing, and very different take on the usual offerings found at higher-end Melbourne restaurants.
