  Basically automated phone service. When you do get to talk to someone rude, unhelpful, disrespectful, and a thick accent that is neither fluent English - apparently employing people who have local UK knowledge & interest & culture knowledge too hard to do.

  I have absolutely provided all the documents more than necessary for my visa application and its been refused for some ridiculous reason and have lost 2000$ this is embarrassing discrimination and racism i have no desire to go england anymore well done great job!

  Very tight to get in as you need prior authority or work there but the foyer is lovely!

  I have been trying to ask some general but important questions about a passport application. I can't get through to any of the consulates in Australia - nobody picks up or automated messages ask you to call in office hours (11 am is when I called). The number advertised on the mygov.uk site which they direct you to, does not connect. The website does not give me the information I need as my situation is quite specific. I just found another phone number on mygov.uk which they advertise as having charges at $2.00 a minute!! Or you can ask them via e mail (only one mind) for a mere five quid! My enquiries are not urgent, but I can't help but think that if I was in dire straits, nobody is willing to help. I would be feeling extremely stressed right now. A sorry state of affairs and just embarrassing. :(
